Some people think that go to a famous university could help them find a good job; however, others believe finding a good job depend on other factories like personality and social ability. I think that go to university do help people get a better job but it may help people in other way. For example, students could build a meticulous thinking by learn mathematics. Maybe, they will use less knowledge about mathematics in their career but it could help students to work in a reasonable way. In addition, there are a great amount of essays waiting for us. I think the purpose of writing is to let students think about something use different views and consider the positive and negative sides. Those are really helpful, so we have to try us best in university in order to practice skills and get experience.

Today, I watch the TED about the negative of overusing technology to communicate. As a tool to communication, telephone have become most common thing, and it plays an important role in our daily life. Because of smart,convenient, and easy to take alone, even primary school students have that in China. Absolutely, the function of telephone help people’s lives become more convenient than before; however, telephone already have become a part of organ for some people. And people rely on it deeply. My friend told me a joke, and he said that the most respectful thing is do not play the mobile phone during a meal. I don’t think it is a joke, and I feel it is true. Even though realize it is not good for them, they cannot stop using it.  How to solve this problem still is a difficult question.

Last weekend, my computer did not work, and I decided to fix it. I found a store which could fix it  in Crystal mall. There was only one worker in that store. He also is the boss. When I told him what the problem it is, He said that I need put my computer here for one day because he need lots of time to fix the problem. Next day, when I got my computer from him, I found there was a screw disappeared in my computer, and computer worked so slow. I never touch the screw before. I guess he might exchange something from my computer but there is no evidence. What should I do…...

Last week, I read two articles about compulsive exercise. Before I take EAP course, I have lots of free time, and I used to go to gym frequently. Absolutely, over exercising do harm for health, but I disagree with the opinion that exercise is harmful to health. I think people cannot avoid to obtain some stuff which contain lots of fat in our daily life, If there are too much fat in our bodies, that could be a problem. Thus, people need a chance to consume extra fat and keep healthy, and doing exercise is the most effective way to do that. As for me, every time after I go to gym, I can have a deeper breath than before because running could practice my lung and make it healthier. I believe that advisable exercise could contribute to health.

Last night I did a part of Bedford homework online, and it is difficult. In my stage, write a good thesis statement still is a challenge. Absolutely, I am still confused about how to judge which thesis statement is better. However, I really improve a lot. For example, before I take EAP class, I have no idea about how to write an organized essay.And now, I know the structure of essay clearly and how to connect support, detail, and analysis together logically. I will have three essays which is argumentative, and I think I should work on critical thinking like practice brainstorm. I think it would helps me to study well in university.

Before I work on the News homework about searching for Malaysian airplane, I have heard about this news because there are approximately 200 hundred Chinese took the air plane which was disappeared on last Monday. This is a really bad news! Some people guess that it is terrorist attack, others believe mechanical failure causes the accident.  The news which comes from Chinese website said that victims' family members are not willing to get compensation and still believe they are alive. No matter terrorism or mechanical failure, I wish they still alive even it is impossible. I am afraid of taking air plane now. Because I think there is no hope to survive if something happen during flying.
